The science behind it
Five facets drawn from the rumination and worry literature โ replaying the past, forecasting the future, analysis paralysis, social monitoring, and mental noise. Our own scale, construct-informed rather than a validated clinical instrument: it maps a pattern and its triggers, and never diagnoses anxiety. Read the full methodology โ
What you get โ free
- โHow loud your mind runs, against a norm
- โWhich of the five loops is actually yours
- โThe trigger that starts your particular loop
- โA shareable result card
A sample from Attachment Style โ the layout is the same for every test.
Optional: a deep report ($3.99, yours forever) adds stress patterns, a growth plan, and PDF export. Your core result is free either way โ that is in our promise.
Common questions
Is overthinking a disorder?
No. It is a cognitive pattern almost everyone runs to some degree, and this test measures how strongly and in which direction. If worry is interfering with your sleep, work, or relationships for weeks at a time, that is worth raising with a professional โ Luna will say the same.
Why five dimensions instead of one score?
Because the fix differs by loop. Replaying a conversation from last week and rehearsing one that has not happened yet feel identical from the inside, but they respond to opposite countermeasures.
Is it really free?
Yes. Your full scored result โ percentiles, archetype, share card โ is free, always. A deeper report (stress patterns, growth plan, PDF) is an optional $3.99 unlock.
Do I need an account?
No. Take the test and see your result instantly. An account only exists to save results across devices.
Quiz or talking with Luna โ which should I pick?
Same questions, same scoring. The quiz is fastest; talking with Luna feels more natural and lets you add nuance. You can switch any time and your answers carry over. Talking is limited to once a day because it costs far more to run; the quiz never is.
What if the result does not sound like me?
Then say so โ that is useful information, not a failure. Every self-report instrument measures how you answered today, and mood, context and how honestly you read the items all move it. Take it again in a few weeks, or open the result with Luna and tell her which part is wrong; she works from the same numbers and will not insist you are the archetype.
Who can see my results?
Nobody but you, unless you share them. Nothing is posted anywhere, results are not public, and a share card is only created when you ask for one. Luna sees your results only while the switch for that is on in Settings, and you can turn it off mid-conversation.
How often should I retake it?
Not weekly. These constructs are meant to be fairly stable, so a re-test after a few months โ or after something genuinely changed, a new job, the end of a relationship, a course of therapy โ tells you something. Re-taking after a bad afternoon mostly measures the afternoon.
