The science behind it

The DISC model is William Marston's, published in 1928 and long out of copyright; the commercial instruments built on it — Everything DiSC and the rest — are not, and this is not one of them. Two honest caveats. Our items are our own and have not been validated against a commercial DISC. And we score on a 1–5 agreement scale, where most paid DISC assessments are ipsative: they force a choice between equally attractive options, which produces a within-person ranking rather than four independent scores. That makes our numbers easier to read and not directly comparable to a certified report. Read the full methodology →

What you get — free

  • Your four DISC scores, all of them, not just the highest
  • How your style reads to colleagues who do not share it
  • Where your style helps and where it reliably costs you
  • A shareable result card

A sample from Attachment Style — the layout is the same for every test.

Optional: a deep report ($3.99, yours forever) adds stress patterns, a growth plan, and PDF export. Your core result is free either way — that is in our promise.

Common questions

Is this an official DISC assessment?

No, and it is worth being clear about it. DISC the model is public domain; DiSC the product is a trademark of John Wiley & Sons, and certified reports come from them. This is an original scale built on the same four dimensions. If you need a result for a hiring process or a certification, you need theirs.

Why is my result different from a DISC assessment I took at work?

Most likely the scoring method. Paid DISC assessments are usually ipsative — you pick between options, so raising one dimension lowers another. We use a 1–5 agreement scale, so all four move independently. Someone who is genuinely high on both D and C shows that here and would be forced to choose there.

Is it really free?

Yes. Your full scored result — percentiles, archetype, share card — is free, always. A deeper report (stress patterns, growth plan, PDF) is an optional $3.99 unlock.

Do I need an account?

No. Take the test and see your result instantly. An account only exists to save results across devices.

Quiz or talking with Luna — which should I pick?

Same questions, same scoring. The quiz is fastest; talking with Luna feels more natural and lets you add nuance. You can switch any time and your answers carry over. Talking is limited to once a day because it costs far more to run; the quiz never is.

What if the result does not sound like me?

Then say so — that is useful information, not a failure. Every self-report instrument measures how you answered today, and mood, context and how honestly you read the items all move it. Take it again in a few weeks, or open the result with Luna and tell her which part is wrong; she works from the same numbers and will not insist you are the archetype.

Who can see my results?

Nobody but you, unless you share them. Nothing is posted anywhere, results are not public, and a share card is only created when you ask for one. Luna sees your results only while the switch for that is on in Settings, and you can turn it off mid-conversation.

How often should I retake it?

Not weekly. These constructs are meant to be fairly stable, so a re-test after a few months — or after something genuinely changed, a new job, the end of a relationship, a course of therapy — tells you something. Re-taking after a bad afternoon mostly measures the afternoon.
