Why Am I Always Tired Β· type
The Warning Light
Your answers look like the ones people bring to a doctor β and this is the path that gets talked over by "I'm just stressed" for years.
What this type is
Most of your answers point at the body. That does not mean something is wrong; it means your pattern resembles the one that has a physical cause often enough to be worth checking, and checking is cheap. This is the path most likely to be dismissed, because "I'm just stressed" and "everyone's tired" are always available and always plausible, and because the causes here are boring rather than dramatic β which is exactly why they go unexamined for years.
The ordinary list a doctor works through is short and mostly answered by one blood draw: iron and haemoglobin, thyroid function, vitamin D and B12, blood sugar or HbA1c. Add to it the things that need a question rather than a test β sleep apnoea, which a partner usually notices before you do; medications, where fatigue is a common and underreported side effect, especially anything started around the time the tiredness did; and the post-viral pattern, including long covid, if this began after an infection. Say when it started, whether anything else changed with it, and what you take daily. That is most of what an assessment is built from.
The part worth saying out loud: a normal result is a useful result. People avoid the blood test because they are afraid of what it might show, and then avoid it again because they assume it will show nothing. Both roads end in not knowing. If everything comes back clear, you have not wasted a morning β you have removed one of the four paths, which makes the remaining three easier to see, and the bars above will tell you which one to read next. And regardless of what this page says: tiredness that has run for more than a few weeks without lifting, or that arrives with unintended weight change, fever, night sweats, or breathlessness, is a doctor's business now rather than a quiz's.
What people with this result notice
Four of the eight notes the test writes for this type; the rest come with your own result.
π Read the bars, not just the name
A physical cause and an overloaded life are not alternatives β they commonly coexist, and one hides the other. This page names the loudest path. The second-tallest bar is usually still true about you.
π One blood draw closes most of this path
Iron and haemoglobin, thyroid, vitamin D and B12, blood sugar. It is one morning and it either finds something treatable or removes a whole branch of the question. Both outcomes are worth having.
What produces this result
Each answer adds to one of 4 facets. Whichever facet ends up highest names your type, so the result is about what leads rather than what is absent.

This is a screening-style questionnaire, not a diagnosis. A high score is a reason to talk to someone who can assess properly.
