La ciencia detrás
Social anxiety is distinct from introversion: introverts find company costly and choose less of it; socially anxious people want company and fear how they will be judged in it. Screening instruments separate three facets — the fear itself, the avoidance it produces, and the physical response (blushing, shaking, a voice that goes) — and ask how often each has occurred over a recent window. This check follows that shape over the last month with seventeen items written for MoodyWonder. It is not the SPIN or the LSAS, and a high score is a reason to talk to someone, not a result in itself. Lee la metodología completa →
This is a screening-style questionnaire, not a diagnosis. It reads how often certain experiences happen to you and compares that with other people; only a clinician can assess what it means for you. If the result worries you, take it to one.

Preguntas frecuentes
Am I socially anxious or just an introvert?
The test that tells them apart is simple: an introvert leaves the party tired and content; a socially anxious person leaves it replaying every sentence. Introversion is about energy; social anxiety is about fear of judgement. Both can be true at once, and the result page says which facet is carrying yours.
Can this diagnose social anxiety disorder?
No. It measures how often three facets have shown up in the last month and compares that with other people. A clinician assesses whether it is a disorder — and social anxiety is among the conditions with the best-established treatments, so a high score is a good reason to ask.
I scored high — what actually helps?
In the research, the thing that works is graded exposure: doing the avoided thing in small, planned steps, with the avoidance reversed on purpose. Therapy makes it faster and safer. The result page gives the first step; a clinician gives the rest.
