La ciencia detrás
Narcissism in the personality literature is a trait, not a diagnosis: everyone sits somewhere on it, and the research separates an adaptive end (confidence, comfort with authority) from the costly facets (needing admiration, feeling entitled, using people). Forced-choice pairs are the classic format for measuring it, because they make the socially easy answer harder to pick. These sixteen pairs are written for MoodyWonder and are not the NPI. This is a self-report about you; it cannot assess anyone else, and a high score is a trait reading, not a clinical one. Lee la metodología completa →

Preguntas frecuentes
Can I use this to check whether my partner is a narcissist?
No — it is a self-report, and the only person it can read is the one answering honestly. Handing it to someone else produces a score of how they want to be seen. If the question is about a partner, the useful thing to look at is the pattern of how they treat you over time, and that is a conversation for a therapist rather than a quiz.
Is scoring high a bad thing?
It is a trait reading, not a verdict. High authority is often useful — it is what confident leaders score. High exhibition and entitlement are the facets that cost relationships, and the result names the cost plainly. Narcissistic personality disorder is a clinical judgement this test does not make.
Won't people just pick the modest answer?
Some do, which is why the pairs are forced-choice rather than agree-disagree: there is no neutral, and both sentences in each pair are things ordinary people say. The honest answer is the one that is true more often, not the one that sounds better.
