What this type is
You measure love in hours spent close. Being with someone — not doing anything, just there — is what registers, and a partner who gives you their attention gives you the thing itself. Gifts and words are pleasant; presence is proof.
Where this helps: you are good at the unglamorous middle of a relationship, the ordinary evenings that most of a life together is made of. You do not need it to be an occasion. You notice absence early, which means you catch drift before it becomes distance.
Where it costs: presence without attention is a different kind of leaving, and you feel the difference sharply — a partner in the room but on their phone can land worse than one who is honestly away. Your need can also be hard to name, because "be here" sounds like nothing, and you may go a long time without saying that the hours matter to you more than the gestures. Say it. Most partners can give time; almost none can guess that it was the currency.
What people with this result notice
Four of the eight notes the test writes for this type; the rest come with your own result.
What produces this result
