Growth came out as your strongest career value. It is the need for work to keep teaching you — new skills, new problems, a version of yourself that is more capable than the last one. You will leave a good job for an unfinished one if the unfinished one has more to learn, and a role you have mastered starts to feel like a room with the lights off.

The gift is that you keep getting better, and you make the people around you better too. You are curious, coachable, and drawn to the edge of your competence, which is where all real development happens. Fast-moving fields, early-stage companies, roles with a steep curve, and any environment that rewards learning give you what you need.

The friction is that growth-driven people can mistake novelty for development and leave before the deepest learning — the part that comes from staying through the plateau — arrives. A résumé of two-year stints can look like range and be, in fact, a pattern of leaving whenever things got repetitive. You can also undervalue the stability and the relationships that a longer tenure would have given you. The work is to distinguish the learning that comes from starting over from the learning that only comes from going deep, and to choose, sometimes, the second.
